The main priority for Shanley and Andrew’s Wrightsville Manor wedding design was FUN and COLOR. They loved the idea of funky flowers, unexpected layouts, and patterns and textures… and we delivered! 

Their ceremony took place under the oak on the lawn at Wrightsville Manor, with a curved, serpentine aisleway leading through the guest chairs. We have been loving this trend as a way to add interest to tradition with a winding walk to the front. We lined the aisle with floral meadows (that were later repurposed to the mantle inside the reception). 

Cocktail hour was held on outside with the statement piece of a fun, velvet bar with accent florals.

Inside the reception, the colors and fun continued with uniquely-shaped flowers (especially fun for our in-house florist!). While the tables needed to have room for their meal so we were limited on space, we used new green patterned plate rentals from Great Day Soiree paired with yellow striped napkins. We love mixing patterns!

We opted for a family-style dinner that worked perfectly for their vision of everyone coming together to celebrate. Family-style feels like a Thanksgiving dinner, with guests passing and sharing dishes. We love how much interaction it creates, making dinner an event within itself!

Their high energy night kicked off with everyone gathering on their white and tan checkered dance floor! Wrightsville Manor is a perfect canvas to dress up and we love how a checkered dance floor elevates the space. 

Shanley and Andrew ended their night with a little Chick-fil-a late night snack then riding off in a vintage family car…iconic!!!
