Kinsey and Thompson’s wedding is a testament to BRE’s manpower and hustle—we get things done!

They chose to have their wedding at their family home on the water in Beaufort, NC with the ceremony at the neighborhood private clubhouse. The design was centered around a blue, white, and green color scheme while leaning on the natural elements of the location.

We love private residence venues for the sentimental value and the ability to build a completely custom vision, but that sometimes is easier said than done! They worked around a beautiful (but giant) tree in the backyard by using a design of three separate clear-top tents rather than one large one. This allowed for each tent to serve a purpose for the guest experience while the clear-tops kept the cohesive, open-air feel.

One tent had lounge seating (including four couches and eight lounge chairs!), the other with tables, and the final with the dance floor and band. Table settings, floral installations, and a round style bar filled the private back yard, all centered around the tree as a focal point.

Private residence weddings can be very difficult when it comes to logistics and execution–definitely a reason for a strong, professional wedding planning team, complete with assistance! Kinsey made sure every detail was accounted for on the days before the wedding, and her and the BRE team worked non-stop on the day-of making sure that everything was picture perfect—and picture perfect it was!

Kinsey and Thompson’s water front, starry October night wedding blew us away. Being able to see the night sky as they danced under the disco ball was simply too romantic.

This is the only way I wanna dance with somebody.
