This wedding wasn’t just an event; it was an experience. Courtney and Tony knew they wanted to make their wedding memorable and merge the energy of the city with the organic textures of the coast. With deep bold colors—like Tony’s and his groomsmen’s orange and emerald suits—mixed with boho chic, it was a perfect marriage of two styles (and a perfect marriage of two people).

Courtney and Tony truly believe the decor was also an element of the guest experience, impressing with each portion of the day. We loved working with Courtney and her eye and value for detail, down to getting creative with the entree indicators at each place setting (if you look closely, the color of the tassels on the place card let the staff know which entree each guest ordered!). We fully transformed the space with florals, colored linens, and draping, and worked with Alexis Scott Designs to create signage that not only incorporated elements of the design but also spoke to their relationship story.

The signs that their wedding wasn't going to be your average run-of-the-mill wedding day started as soon as guests arrived. Greeted by a Champagne Lady, she handed them a flute of champagne and directed them to their seating in the runway style ceremony while a violinist serenaded in the background.

From ceremony to reception, there was always something new for guests to enjoy: a cigar roller flown in from Miami, cocktail hor d'oeuvres pairing Tony and Courtney’s tastes and cultures together, a live jazz trio, popcorn bar, dessert bar, table side wine service with the plated dinner, and most of all, the truly iconic showstopper of the night—a flash dance mob with dancers (dressed as waiters) accompanied by the bride herself!

Courtney took everyone by surprise—including Tony—when she joined the choreography, bringing the entire room to their feet.
